Among them are elite and stringent EPD® and our powder which is Cradle to Cradle Certified® at the GOLD level in all criteria.
EPD® is a comprehensive document providing transparent information about the carbon footprint and the environmental impact of a particular product. It covers all stages of production, transportation, and the product’s lifecycle. It serves to assess the ecological efficiency of building products with external verification of compliance. It is a true milestone for any company, increasing the chances of a building obtaining environmental certifications (LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, and others) by earning additional points in multi-criteria certification systems.
Cradle to Cradle® certification defines the framework for the production and lifecycle of products that circulate in a closed-loop from start to finish. It specifies the ability for full recycling, taking into account the use of renewable energy sources, carbon dioxide emissions, water resource management, and social responsibility. A product can receive 1 of 5 certification levels in each of the above areas. The concept is continually refined, making the certification challenging to achieve and even harder to maintain. It is an ecological gem in the crown.
