MDF boards are a wood-based material that successfully replaces natural wood. They are made by pressing wood fibers with the addition of adhesives and organic hardeners, subjected to high pressure and temperature. As a result, the material has a homogeneous density and raw material composition throughout the entire cross-section. It provides exceptionally good machinability parameters while maintaining dimensional stability. Thanks to the Burnblock® fire-retardant impregnation, they can achieve a fire resistance class of B-s1;d0.
Moreover, Burnblock is:
What we say is what we can document – and we are clear and open about what we cannot document.
