A facade with character and fire safety
In the shadow of Denmark’s third tallest residential building stands Netto Søndermarken, a standout Netto store in Frederiksberg’s new Kvarterhus. Although modest in size, the building attracts attention, notably thanks to its distinctive yellow sign mounted on a facade that sets it apart from traditional Netto stores.
For this upgrade, Netto chose a facade cladding with slats of thermo ash, fire impregnated with Burnblock’s sustainable fire retardant. We have the only fire treatment on the market that has achieved full accreditation, approval, and classification according to EN 16755.
The facade is tested and classified to B-s1, d0, ensuring high fire safety without compromising on aesthetics.
The slats are selected in dimensions 40×40 mm and 40×126 mm, set up with a centre-to-centre distance of 58 mm.
The system behind this is our patented Woodfac Panel from Nordisk Profil – a closed facade solution that also acts as a building envelope and protects the structure.
